I hope it’s not too soon for another F. Scott quote. His restless spirit must be talking to my restless spirit.
PS where are you going and who are you seeing this summer?

Whether it’s graphics or the outdoors–I’ll be keepin at it.

New fun hobby: camping on the beach with boyfriend and dogs. But I will leave you with two things to note on this subject:
1. Don’t get the site next to the Jersey Shore crowd (see quote: “West Coast”)
2. Don’t forget the sunscreen. “Holler, will you get my back?”

Have you read any Junot Diaz? He writes like no one before him… it’s some sort of crusty, real-life beautiful–very imaginative. Are you intrigued?

Sorry I got all quiet there for awhile. I got stuck in some sort of passion hibernation this winter. But I finally got out and and saw my shadow in Big Sur! (analogy stretch…possibly).
Isn’t the United States beautiful?

To the one who showed me crazy, in it’s goodness, badness, funness, and un-funness. Now it’s up to me to take the charge and make my own crazy.
Thanks Ma, I got this!

Adventure is out there, and I’m going after it. We’re driving to the Grand Canyon on Friday for a long weekend and a shorter bucket list! If you think of us, will you say a little prayer? I actually have never set up my own camp before… so things could get interesting. But I have a head full of common sense, and the strongest older sister I know– I’m in good hands.
PS youth is where it’s at!

Music, huh? It’s always stirrin’ and shakin’ us up. I’m going to a show tonight and this guy’s music always seeps into my soul. He’s a lotta different than the M83 photo above but… both got the magic!

Ever since I became a nine-to-sixer “Day Lights Savings” became my favorite holiday. I celebrate those long days, walking out of work with the sun on my face– ‘hey that’s nice’. What are we going to make with these shorter days approaching? Will the magic stop?

I went camping once this summer and immediately decided I was ready to take on the Grand Canyon. It’s ok to be naive and eager when you’re young, right? Because I have a bucket list and I gotta use it before I loose it. And hey here’s to using those PTO days for something other than weddings, you know what I mean? I’m officially planning my own special days! (The grand hike is in October, got any tips?)
